![]() ![]() The trick there is to have enough wall HP to last while you come and kill things that the beams miss or otherwise fail to kill in a timely fashion.Įven then, it becomes increasingly difficult to balance the needs between t.hp, t.atk. On lower difficulty, somewhat possible, since things move so slow, hit so weakly and dont need a huge beating - so you can actually compensate a lot with personal dps. Hybrid'ing is just not viable on the higher difficulties without being massively overgeared to compensate. The higher your stats (from level and gear), the bigger the difference in specializing. In theory, completely disregarding what gear you can get on ranked without cheating, and disregarding how you allocate your statpoints from levelling up, then yes, it is possible to be just as good, by being omniperfect, maxed in every stat. Ok so I could have weaker towers buffed for good damage, while having dps - provided I have the right armor? Or is it better to switch between a builder and dps during a map? How much difference is there between 8.4k and 2.2k in tower damage for ev, with the buff beams? (Sorry for all the questions, just trying to does sound challenging. Hybrid "works" because you only need a very small amount of tower stats to have a significant boost from your buff beams. My tower Series EV has 8.4k tower attack and my DPS EV has 2.2k tower attack, which just goes to show how poorly the tower stats scale on Series EV. That said, here's an example of what I mean by "kinda" when I say hybrid works: There was absolutely no effort made to keep the stat high at all. The fact that I have 2000 tower attack is merely a coincidence and the result of all my items having a small amount of tower attack. You have to keep in consideration that I have Ultimate++ armor in that screenshot. Is it important then to not totally neglect, say, tower damage if I'm a dps, or dps is I'm a builder? Originally posted by Kaliflour:Also, I notice in your pic you have towers leveled up fairly high as well, though not nearly so high as your character damage. ![]() If you want more information on DPS items for Series EV, I wrote a guide that has some information on the subject: However, due to the nature of the Pawn Shot and Moby, you lose a bit of damage when the ability times out. This character build has the most damage potential out of all characters and shreds all at-level boss fights to bits. Proton Charge Blast EV abuses the exceedingly high base damage of weapons like the Pawn Shot and the Moby's Mobile Launcher to put out massive Proton Charge Blast damage. They hit very hard and don't go down easily thanks to the large stat bonuses on the EV 1.75 skin. Standard DPS EV puts all points into hero attack to maximize Blaster Rifle and Fusion Rift damage. Not very many people have this kind of EV as itt has limited usefulness on maps like The Tinkerer's Lab and Temple of Love. Tower wall builder puts all points into tower health to make the strongest physical beams possible. Everyone I know has and uses this build on every map in the endgame selection. Tower attack builder puts all hero points into tower attack and boosts tower damage as much as possible. I could write a massive wall of text onhow easch works but I'll just leave short summaries instead: There's 4 main ways people use Series EV: ![]() Originally posted by Kaliflour:But EV looks awesome, and I would like to know some ways to effectively use her. ![]()
